MSM (Methylsulphonylmethane) is a flexible bond between proteins found in hair, skin, joints, tendons and cartilage.
A naturally occurring source of sulphur (34% by weight), it is one of the major building blocks of glycosaminoglycan’s (CAG’s) which are key structural components in cartilage.
MSM is an organic form of sulphur that can be found in some green vegetables: alf alfa, beets and cabbage. Anecdotally, it reduces pain amongst arthritis sufferers and has an anti-inflammatory effect. It is also reported to have antioxidant benefits
Usage
- Take 5 g (approximately one level 5 ml measure) daily with water.
